At the LDA-N we believe people enrich their own lives when they enrich the lives of others.

Get Involved! Volunteers...

A few hours a month can mean so much to a small charity like LDA-N. Your time and efforts count! How? Besides assisting in various areas of need for the association, your time gets recorded and reported when we apply for grant funding this helps bring in money for LDA-N from various sources.

Volunteer opportunities are open to LDA-N members who are over the age of 18 & for anyone within the Niagara region who would love to share their skills and time with us to provide services to all our members and their families.

If you are a high school student over the age of 16 looking for volunteer hours, we currently are seeking volunteers for our Summer Camp Program.

Currently we are seeking volunteers for the following positions:

Position Title: Bingo Card Sellers

Where: Niagara Region

When: 4 hour duty-time, 1 to 2 afternoons. (Next Bingo date is June 16th) 2pm-6pm

What: Duties will include selling bingo tickets, verifying winning tickets, helping with hall clean-up and other duties as assigned. Training provided.

Who: Anyone over the age of 19 who enjoys working with the public, experience dealing with cash and working in a fast paced environment.

Rewards: Helping our agency with fundraising, received $10.00 from the Bingo hall for volunteering, working as a team-player, socializing, and meeting new faces within the Niagara Region community
